Does anyone have a play bark area in their garden?

We're having the garden completely re-done next week and have chosen to have a play bark area at the end of the garden,to put the climbing frame and swings etc.
I'm now wondering whether all the neighbourhood cats will think it's a giant litter tray and if so,what other alternatives may be better. We've got 2 cats, there are a few strays that come into the garden aswell as plenty of foxes.
Thanks.

Yes, my bark is big. It would not be very satisfactory to scratch up and hide a poo in (trying to imagine self into cat psychology...)

Did you check yours to see if there was any poo in there?.
I've just seen another thread on artificial grass which looks quite good and may be a good option.Seems very durable and guaranteed for 5 years against animal damage.
