Can anyone ID these typical Surrey daffodils?

I am trying to build up or expand on my garden daffodils. They are all yellow, about 45cm high and typical Surrey daffs - I live in Epsom. The pictures are taken now and around the beginning of March.

However, when I try to search for the same online, well, it's like trying to match paint colours, you think you've got it then you find you haven't.

I got some King Alfred daffs. But they aren't as tall and they haven't come out yet, so don't match the other ones. The yellow is too full on, too. You think 'okay, yellow flower, yellow trumpet, it can't be that hard' but it is.

Surely these daffodils, which are pretty bog standard and can be seen all around Surrey, can't be that hard to identify? What sort are they?

Note, one picture has the petal more yellow and translucent than many daffs, it has a kind of subtlety that most ordered online don't have.

Thanks if anyone has any ideas?

No help but my (Surrey) garden is full of them. When we moved in I thought I should plant some daffodils, never got round to it and lo and behold the following spring a carpet of daffodils as you describe adorned my flower beds. Except I don’t like them. I want yellow daffodils. But can’t be faffed with digging them up and replanting. Our previous owners clearly went overboard on the daffodil bulbs shame it wasn’t the classic yellow… still zero idea what type they are though I’m afraid!

Why not send pictures/details to one of the specialist Narcissus growers/bulb suppliers, or the Daffodil Society or even the RHS? I’m guessing they will be able to help identify them!

Can’t edit to add that they look at bit like Golden Jewel to me. They are quite tall and have that slight translucent look you mentioned. I can’t make the link work either…have a look at bulbs.co.uk and you’ll see the ones I mean!

I think they’re just wild daffodils, ie not cultivated!
