came out of work last night and there was a delicious smell in the air. tracked it down to a shrub in the car park. It had little white flowers all over it and smelled something like juicy fruit bubble gum but much nicer.
any ideas>?

Hot Apple and Courgette Chutney

4 large cooking apples finely chopped
8 large courgettes finely chopped
4 tbsp olive oil
2tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp fenugreek seeds (optional_
1 tsp ground turmeric
2 fresh red chillis finely diced (remove seeds unless you like it really really hot)
8oz soft light brown sugar
1oz fresh grated ginger (or v finely chopped)
3 cloves garlic crushed
1 pint cider vinegar

Heat oil and fry mustard seeds until they pop.
Add fenugreek, turmeric, chilli, ginger and garlic and immediately follow with apple and courgettes.
Add sugar and vinegar and simmer until apples and courgettes are tender and juices are thick.
Cool slightly and pour into warmed, sterilised jars.

It is a brilliant recipe.
