Tall Peony cages

Hi, I am looking for tall peony cages. My peonies grow almost to my hip height, but the heads are so heavy they flop very soon. I have peony cages but realistically need taller ones. I can't seem to find any.

Forgive the stealth boast 🙂 I planted them then ignored them, it's nothing to do with any care I've given them!

Should I give up and go for some kind of obelisk device?

That's exactly what I needed! Thank you.
The price though...

I’ve got some like that!
Ive also got a fair bit of bamboo too; so I use a top part of a bamboo stick where there’re some side branches. Each peony flower head can rest in the V & I can tailor the length of bamboo to each peony flower stem…as…I dunno if I’d be able to rearrange a ’cage’ around once the peony has got to the flowering point?
Probably other sticks, like hazel or elder could be used if no bamboo available.
I trim back the top leafy part of bamboo & its side branch so there’s only a 1 or 2 V’s at the top of the stick.
These sticks are free 🤭! (& i give some away on nextdoor)

I sometimes use hazel or similar or larger branches and sticks and do a bit of weaving to create supports. Though just sticking a support in the ground is a lot easier!https://www.themiddlesizedgarden.co.uk/make-natural-plant-supports-clippings/

Have a look at Tom Chambers plant supports @Advent0range , they might suit your budget. I got some in my local garden centre.

I saw a video on Instagram but I just can't find it now, or even remember who did it, but it was very similar to this picture. I thought it was a very lovely, and cheap, way to support plants

Mine are from Amazon , think they were about £30 - £35 for a set of two . Black metal ( steel ? ) and quite robust , into their fourth year now .

That's Anya the Farden Fairy on IG - have a look OP, I'm going to try it this year using buddleia and other twig prunings.

@ShrimpBoil I thought it was her page, I already follow her, but couldn't find it when I looked. My dd bought me her book for Christmas and it is just lovely

Yes, I love the DIY options too! Thanks so much to all who have commented - didn't expect this much help.

You put the cage on early on the year and the peony grows through it. I'm lazy so mine are out all year (not tall enough to recommend to AdventOrange though).
