Is there an easy way to level a lawn?

As the title really. Years of play equipment and large paddling pools have left our lawn very very bumpy. I would really like to level it off so I don't risk my neck every time I walk on it. Unfortunately I have no idea what to do so I'm asking for suggestions please, thank you.

May I jump on? I have exactly this problem. Its also sunken on one corner. Really taken a battering in the heat too. I have no idea where to start.

The easiest way would still be quite hard work but you could buy bags of topsoil, put it where the dips are, rake, stomp and rerake it until it is level and then sow grass seed.

This. Dump top soil on it over the obvious low spots. Use a large long piece of wood to drag it out flat. Grass seed it.

If your lawn is anything like our lawn (and all grass in our surroundings area) then the long, hot, dry weather will have caused a lot of shrinkage thereby making the problem worse than it actually is.
Would leaving it until the spring be an option?

Dumping a load of topsoil and raking it over is ideal for a seriously uneven lawn.
For smaller dips I use a lawn levelling rake (lute) which is great.
