Not sure anyone does but here they are anyway. I love them. My favourite flowers. The cafe au lait make me happy. Something about growing something so big and beautiful makes me feel proud.

Are yours in pots or in the ground?

You don’t have to dig them up, if your soil is free-draining they will survive fine in most UK winters. But if you have clay soil and they get waterlogged, the roots will rot. So in that situation you dig them up and dry them out and then replant as a bare root in spring. Bit like a pelargonium.

If yours are in pots I think you can just move them into the garage for winter and stop watering them - mine are in a border but I think I may transplant mine into pots this autumn as it sounds much easier!
