Propagation question for cactus lovers

One of my cacti is producing babies. Well, several are, but I am not sure what to do with these. Do I (a) just leave them on, (b) pull them or cut them off (which?) and lay them on some soil or in some water? Photo of the proud mum attached.

It’s not a cactus, but a succulent - a Euphorbia hybrid. Leave them on by all means, but be warned the milky sap is quite toxic and can cause skin irritation. If you real want to propagate it, you would have to detach one of the stems by twisting it off, allow the base to dry, before just inserting it into gritty compost mix and keeping it just damp. But heed the warning about the sap - you could spray the cut end with water until the sap stops running, before setting it on to the potting mix.

I'm quite tempted to leave them on if the plant can cope with that! Thank you.
