Patio weeds(with pic)

What’s the best treatment to get rid of patio weeds? I usually pull them up/blast them away with the jet washer but they always come back. I’m looking for recommendations for a dog friendly weed killer spray. Perhaps something I could spray on before bedtime and leave overnight while the dogs are safely in the house? Picture added

Docks and dandelions will keep coming back unless you dig out the roots - I use an old knife to do it.

Spraying vinegar with a drop of washing up liquid in it will kill off weeds preset well. (The soap helps the vinegar penetrate the leaves) Harmless to your pets, although the patio might smell like a chippy for a couple of days.

I use a weed burner, you can get them on Amazon.

Fill a watering can with warm water, add a cup of salt, give a good stir to dissolve.

Pathclear weed killer.

use an old knife to disrupt and remove what you can. Then scatter cropping thyme seeds in th cracks and you'll soon have a beautiful patio that is bee friendly, smells great, and leaves no room for weeds.
Honestly - battling weeds is a mug's game. Just elbow them out

I pour boiling water on them, this kills weeds to the roots so is ideal for getting into spaces like this. The weeds die off and dry out and can be brushed away.

I just got myself a set of weeding knifes to deal with that :).

I don't want to use any harsh products but I read that boiling water or a mix of things like white vinegar, salt, lemon & soap can be used to help kill the weeds.

Long-term solution is to scrap them out and then fill with patio grout.

This would sort the weeds (mostly - they’d still find the odd crack in the grout), but it would give you a drainage issue.

I second a weed burner.

I have a dog who links and eats anything so I didn't want to put any chemicals down. I blast the weeds once a week/every ten days or so, just when they're peeping their little green heads over the parapet! Takes a few minutes and the same ones don't come back - but new ones have a go!

exH has a sickle like knife thing, has a long handle, to remove weeds in the cracks. It's very effective, even i can make it work. Good work out.

Thyme and fleabane. You can walk over them, drive over them, mow them. They’re pretty and crowd out the undesirables. We also have a patch of violets on one patio. The few weeds that come through we run the knife down the crack and they’re gone. Tho I like the sound of the long handled one mentioned upthread.
We find it so much softer to loo at than bare slabs

I selectively weed too.

When I do have to take them out I used on of the little sickle style weed "blades".
