Or are mine a lost cause!!

all I have is the 3cm of last years growth which I pruned back in March. No sign of new leaves or growth whatsoever.

rudbekia I can’t seem to kill, echinacea on the other hand I can’t seem to sustain!

I've given up on echinacea, I might as well just bury the money I spend on them.

Yes mine are coming up - ones I planted last year in the front garden, and also ones I grew from seed in the back garden which last year were puny and didn't flower, but appear to have settled in now and are growing well. What sort of soil and situation have you put them in? My garden is clay so I dug in lots of grit and sand and a handful of compost to improve drainage, and made sure they are in a sunny spot, so far they seem to be doing alright (a bit crowded by tulip leaves currently though, oops).

Thanks.

yes @Magicpaintbrush good position, sunny bed all PM, in the same bed rudbekia, geum, cistus, poppy and leucathermum (sp) are all doing very well.
these two were gorgeous neon orange and pink -
such a shame. Debating whether to replace or try something totally different but that gives the same bright pop.

suggestions welcome!
