Veg growing - outdoor seedlings

For the last few years, DH and I have grown some veg in the garden (south facing garden) but have the seedlings in the back bedroom window until they are strong plants. DD is now in this room and understandably doesn't want her bedroom used as a greenhouse.

I bought a mini plastic greenhouse for the garden and placed in a sunny spot but none of the seedlings have sprouted.

Do I....

  1. Replant and try again now it's a bit warmer
  2. Replant and place them in the front room which is not as hot as midday sun outside but consistently warmer overnight, but doesn't get much sun
  3. Plant and leave outside but bring in at night
  4. Something else?

If its relevant, veg is mostly chilli, tomatoes, courgettes and some herbs.

I tend to keep mine in the house until they’ve germinated before moving them to my unheated greenhouse. They will germinate in your greenhouse… eventually!

What are you trying to grow specifically?

It's probably too cold out for them. Chilli's, tomatoes and courgettes all like a warmer start. It is a but late for chilli now, so you would be better off buying them. Statr the rest off inside on a north facing window sill and they should be fine.
