Can you recommend your pressure washer to me?

Our flags and seating area are grubby and mossy so I want to blast them clean. However, I can't see me doing this more than once per year so I don't want to spend loads. Have you got a reasonably priced one that will really remove the dirt?

Hire one

Alternatively, sprinkle bio washing powder over the area, water it so that it turns to a paste and then brush it off with a broom.

I have a karcher K2 - was less than £100 at Lidl. Does the job. I also use it to jet wash rugs (not wool antiques obviously) garden furniture and outside cushions - so it earns its keep , the neighbours use theirs to wash their car weekly

Thanks. Tried that and didn't really make a great deal of difference.

I have a Karcher K4 and all the various attachments. It cost £200 and works brilliantly.

I can’t remember which Karcher we have but it was over £300 when we bought it and it has been back to the factory to be repaired probably around 5 times now so I’d avoid them like the plague. It was so bad that we insisted that they give us another 3 year warranty due to the number of times that we had to wait for a delivery or collection (and they hadn’t organised for it to happen on more than one occasion).

When it works, it’s great but not working and going back to the factory for an extended period after it’s been used to wash two cars every 2-3 weeks isn’t the quality I’d buy or recommend.

Also have a Karcher window vac - that failed too, with a known problem that several people have created repair videos on YouTube.

Oh, that doesn't sound great.

I’ve had a Karcher K2 for years but the internal washers gave out so it was losing loads of water from inside. Karcher will not supply replacement washers and it was out of warranty. Decided not to get another so got a little Bosch instead. Really pleased with it. Cleans patio, decking, garden furniture beautifully. Small, compact, easy to use and packs a punch

I have a Karcher K4. It's OK, it did the job, but I wouldn't get another. It often gets airlocks when I put it away, and the manual is useless, so half the time when I get it out I have to faff around finding out how to clear the airlock, and then clearing it, before I can get on with using it, That said, it is fun to use!
