im sitting here with a cup of tea, Merlin the bird app, the cat and just enjoying it.

I love have a glass of wine or a cocktail at the end of a long day ion the garden. I'm doing it right now - determined to stay out here, wrapped in a blanket, listening to the evening bird song, drinking a margarita.😁

My garden is my happy place,I can sit out there and instantly feel relaxed.
I do however find the urge to take pictures of everything, the seasons change so fast and I don't want to miss anything, especially this time of year when the blossom is out, it is so fleeting I just have to capture it all while it lasts

My husband does nearly all the yard work. I choose plants for my patio pots and plant them each spring, and I deadhead anything that needs it, but he will often water them when watering his vegetable garden.

We put in a nice patio a few years back; it has a family-sized table with an umbrella, and last year, we added a four-top with an umbrella. Depending on the weather, some days I sit for an hour or so and read, others I plan a "patio day" and bring out stitching, my laptop and iPad and wile away the day, feet up with favorite beverages.

I like to sit on my garden bench by the pond and watch the fish swimming around. I find it very relaxing!
