Plum trees blossoming but temps due to drop

The trees are about 6' tall. How can I protect the blossom if it falls below freezing again?

We've had this before and unfortunately that year's crop was ruined.

Yes, it's happened to us two years in a row. There's a leap in temps every Feb now and it brings the blossom out too early. I tried to blanket the whole tree last year but it's too big. I was wondering about wrapping individual branches.

I think they’re ruined. We have plums and cherries in glorious blossom right now, but I know the forthcoming temperatures will not be good for them. I’d be more worried about late frosts wrecking our magnolias and wisterias.

We never wrap our olive trees and they look traumatised, but recover really well.

I suppose I can just enjoy the blossom whilst it's here

It has more to do with the availability of pollinating insects than the cold affecting the flowers themselves. Fingers crossed for you.
