What to put in narrow gap between paving and wall?

I'm have a gravel drive out down (it will be on the left of pic) - there is a gap between the edging paving and the wall. I feel I need to put something in the gap, but don't want to encourage stray weeds - is planting moss a thing?

You forgot to attach the pics. I bought moss on ebay last year, lots of varieties available, I got about a square foot - it looks lovely and it's still living - it's planted near a wall in a shaded area that benefits from a steady flow of watering beside my tree ferns! I have tried encouraging the wild stuff around my house but I haven't been as successful, I keep trying.

Moss will cover the gravel too, and can get slimy. There are other forms of low ground cover, some sedums and succulents, mind your own business, pachysandra, St Johns Wort, thyme, depending on size of space, soil and aspect.

Sweet woodruff is my go-to ground cover. Is it sunny or shady?

That link looks like what I would call Mexican daisy and I agree it’s very pretty though it spreads around easily, so just check that’s ok for you OP: A lot of the tenacious things that will grow in harsh environments are a bit spready though. Nigella is something that will grow anywhere and copes with dryness. Forget me not the same but likes to be a bit wetter.

I think creeping toadflax is also very pretty in a wetter brick crack environment tumbling down a wall. Theres also perennial wallflowers which are gorgeous if this is a sunny spot though I’ve never had much success with them.

The drive people came back and put gravel in the gap, so I'm going to leave it for now - but I'm going to get some Wall Daisy for the back garden - it looks lovely, thank you @Pat888
