Fast growing jasmine

Can anyone recomend a type of jasmine to grow in a pot, and train up along a wall?
I want something that will grow fast and cover the trellis in a few years.
Would be positioned against a west facing brick wall so very warm & sheltered.

Jasmine Officinale grows quite quickly, it is a finer plant than Jasmine Trachelosperm, which has thicker leaves and stems and in my opinion grows more slowly.
Officinale loses its leaves in winter, Trachelosperm retains its leaves.

Having put in a jasmine beesianum in June, it's already grown 18 inches and will have nice pink flowers.

Yes, agreed, Jasminum officinale is a fast grower. Star Jasmine is a different genus, Trachelospermum not Jasminum, though its superficial likeness to Jasmine is recognised in its species name, Trachelospermum jasminoides. It’s more tender than Jasminum officinale.

Thanks everyone. I picked up a jasmine officinale today to plant in a container this evening.

I love star jasmine. It has small shiny leaves and a gorgeous smell. It doesn't vanish in winter. Over a longer period I think it's a better plant.

Bit more tender than J officinale, so not necessarily better for everyone. And different scent
