Should this house plant be growing up or down?!

I have been assiduously supporting and tying in a varigated pothos for a year, but it has occured to me that it might be trail-y rather than climb-y. I am an idiot aren't I?

I think people have it doing both! It likes to hang, but you can make it climb up walls, bookcases and all sorts with support.

I don't know what to do now! It didn't look happy as a climber, now it looks a bit sad hanging down

Sad in what way? Is it out of direct sunlight?

Some people grow it up a moss pole and tie it in, others just let it trail. I don't think it really matters to the plant either way.

@Pootles34 I just meant it looked a bit droopy now I have taken the moss pole out, I will wait a week to see it it rights itelf, but might put it back on the pole...

I have mine as hanging but I'm a bit lazy. I've seen either. Mine does get a bit straggly after a while but they do root easily so I usually have a couple of babies going that I add back to the mum to make it bushier looking.

I took the babies out and repotted. This is the mother plant and tge is v long and not bushy at all. Maybe i should repot and bring the family back together?
