Do you order plants on line?

I’m getting a bit fed up of going to garden centres and not finding the plants I’m looking for. I do like to choose my own plants usually, but I’m wondering if ordering on line is going to be best, to save my time and frustration?

David Austin delivered a superb rose, well packaged and very healthy. I am already choosing my next purchase.
I ordered something from Thompson, it was fine but very slow despite saying it would dispatch within 48 hours. It took around 2 weeks to arrive. I’ve just placed an order with Roots so will see how that is. The cost of postage can be a real sting!
