I got 3 peonies online and nothing is happening. I planted them in different spots in the garden about 3 weeks ago and nothing. I probably planted them wrong. V disappointed. They weren't cheap

Sorry forgot the photo - just to add they are late coming into bloom this year, it's been so cold, they're about 3 weeks behind schedule.

Wow beautiful! There's nothing showing at the moment but I've put 2 sticks to show where they are and will keep watching them

I bought loads of bulbs from J Parker last autumn, the tulips, narcissi, hyacinths and most iris were absolutely excellent this spring and very good value indeed. I looked at which bulbs Sarah Raven had included in their bulb collections as she has some great colour combinations, then bought from J Parker at a much cheaper price.
I had some crown imperials and some iris that either didn't come up or came up blind so I contacted J Parker who refunded me no problem. I think they have a year's guarantee on their plants and bulbs, provided you have followed the correct cultivation method, so if your plants don't survive and bloom next year you can get a refund.
By the sound of it they're just small plants that need time to establish. With peonies you mustn't plant too deeply or that will stop them flowering.

Also not all peonies are sun lovers. Some are woodland plants.

I have always found that bare root plants struggle if I put them straight in the ground. I find they need to be in a pot first for a few months until they develop a better root system and some leaves, then they can go into the ground.
