Stupid question about feeding plants/watering cans

So we have one watering can and Im trying to feed the garden. We only have one plant that needs the pink feed (acid or something)

We also have a bamboo that I gave some lawn feed to

The rest of the garden just needs normal feed

So I was a bit worried that how do I know, in between feeds, whether the previous feed solution has properly washed out?

I did some fresh water watering for some new tomato plants as the soil is new and has feed in for 8 weeks, but worried that even though I rinsed out the can, I might have contaminated my tomatoes with the acid feed.

Do people get different cans for this sort of thing?

It doesn’t matter. There won’t be enough residue to hurt anything. The “acid or something” feed doesn't make the soil acid, it merely holds the iron in the feed ina way that makes it accessible to plants.

The only one I’d worry about is the lawn feed. If it’s just a feed, no problem. If it’s “weed and feed”, then it should be OK on the bamboo, because bamboo is a grass, but it isn’t good for any other plants. So keep another can for “weed and feed”, but otherwise they can all use the same can

This is what I used on the bamboo

One year I did use it on all the other plants and they all went leggy and stringy and I think I read after that, that lawn feed on plants promotes the stringyness or something (probably more technical than that)

That looks to be inoffensive. The only ingredient they admit to is molasses. If they had a weedkiller in there they’d have to list it.
