Where are the bees

Anyone else noticing a real lack of bees in their garden this year? Are they taking longer to wake up since it was so cold until recently? I love seeing bees in my garden and am really hoping they turn up soon!

No the workers are female, drones are male.

Did you know that the queen was originally believed to be a king, because people couldn’t compute that it was a woman in charge?

Must be some about as I noticed a yellow blob on my jumper when I was out the other day.

Dont they give select female larvae the royal jelly which then turns them into the queen? its so interesting
