How do I kill a fuschia bush in an environmentally friendly way?

I want to get rid a fuschia bush that's growing by a wall. I won't be able to dig it out but I don't want to use Roundup or anything nasty. Does anyone know any tricks for doing it? I've already pruned it to the ground, but it could be two foot tall again in a week.

Let me look after it with a view to nurturing it.
Dead within a week, guaranteed.

This horse chestnut is also a thing of beauty.

It really is. How old is it?

I'm with you OP.
There are two kinds of fuschia. The pretty, tender ones that you use in tubs and baskets in the summer and the hardy ones which are shrubs with smaller flowers.
I had one in a flower bed. It was dug out 15 years ago but still, every year there are shoots sneaking up all over that flower bed. Obviously not every scrap of root was removed but my goodness it's nearly as indestructable as the yucca I removed.
