Hello, I have been growing some apple and pear seeds for fun. I also got a large plum/cherry tree that has the same issue. They started growing up nicely but then they have all been stricken by what appears to be some sort of disease/blight.

Any ideas what is causing their leaves to become damaged? What natural in house mixes can I make to kill the disease or if they do not work well, what product is recommended to buy? Thanks,

I'm no expert but looks like something is munching them, caterpillars or slugs/snails

What compost did you use?

Some of these new peat-free ones can be very dodgy and contain all sorts of unwanted toxins, especially if they have been composted from garden waste, which can contain weedkillers and all sorts.

Yeah we have a caterpillar issue that we need to deal with.
But I also want to get rid of whatever disease they are getting.

Just the Australian soil in our backyard. It should not be mixed with anything dodgy.

Ah - Australian soil? I wouldn't know about pests and diseases in your part of the world, sorry. It would be relatively unusual though, for the same leaf disease to affect three different species all at the same time.

Is there a possibility that someone has sprayed weedkiller and it has drifted your way? That sort of distorted growth can sometimes happen due to that.
