I'm pretty sure these are weeds, but can someone confirm before I rip them out!

As per the title really. A whole bunch of these plants have popped up in my garden, the leaves have an unusual, velvety texture. I was just about to rip them all out but thought I'd better check with someone a lot wiser on these things! TIA!

It's lambs ear. They do spread but I really like the silvery leaves so I leave them if they're not in the way. The leaves are edible but have a weird texture for eating.

I think that is lychnis coronaria, pretty pink or white flowers, definitely keep!

It is similar to lambs ears with silvery, slightly furry leaves.

I think you're right! Darn it I thought I'd identified a plant for someone 😁

Agree it's lychnis. I've just pulled out dozens of them - they self seed all over the place. Lucky I love them.

Yes, Lychnis coronaria. Usual form has magenta flowers, you might be lucky (depending on your fondness for magenta) and have the white flowered one.

Wonderful, thank you all so much!
