Snowdrops in the green.... Help please!

Ordered some snowdrops in the green online, , they've just arrived and the 'green' parts are completely slimy and rotten...

Should I not worry about the green bits and just plants the bulbs or should I try to get my money back?

I appreciate it's quite late for snowdrops but surely they shouldn't sell them if they're no good?

The problem is that the rot could affect the bulbs. I would contact the seller, send a photo and get a refund or replacement. I sent snowdrops in the green in February and they were planted the day they arrived and continued flowering in their new garden. Order sooner next year.

Yes, do as @muddyford says, but meanwhile plant asap. In case they refuse a refund. In pots if necessary.

Slimy and rotten is what happens to the leaves when they die down naturally, though it’s a bit early for that.

Thank you, I'll put them in the ground and hope for the best! I've taken a photo too so will also contact seller and see what they say....
