First raised garden beds, how do I protect them from animals? (gardening complete newbie)

I recently bought my first house so this my first attempt at a vegs garden and I have done 3 small raised beds.

I am growing some of the seeds in my kitchen first but I have also planted a few hardier seeds outdoors and I am now looking how I can protect them from animals.

I live in small seaside town in Kent so we have large seagulls as well as the usual birds and I also have cats (my own and the neighbour's) in the garden and even the occasional fox...

Can I ask what people are doing to try to keep all of the above from digging the beds & making a mess :)?

I have metal hoops and veggiemesh weighed down with bricks for protection from pigeons and cabbage whites. You can buy fruit or veg cages if you have the budget for it? Or use canes/stakes and mesh.

I'm near the sea, and never had trouble with the gulls. In fact the only thing that ate my veg was some deer, and that was only one year. But as Turkeyhen said, canes and string would do the trick, cats are the worst, laying on the warm soil.

Thank you both for the advice!

@FizzingAda Yes I caught my cat and the neighbour's cat this morning lounging on one of the raised beds...my cat has also tried to eat some of my indoor seedlings :).

Will get some mesh.
