I just found a load that I bought last year. I guess no point planting now but I wondered if they would survive if I keep them for September? What should I do with them?

Plant them. Even if they don’t flower, they will put out leaves and photosynthesise to produce food to build up the bulb for next year.

Are they still firm and not mouldy? If so I would expect them to be showing a bit of green if they are alive. Bulbs are basically a storage facing for the growing part of the plant, so if alive and in the dark, they will usually strat to grow anyway.

If they are showing green,,or even just firm and fresh smelling , plant them at twice the depth of the bulb. If soft or squishy,,don’t bother.

I found 150 bulbs and put them in the ground at the weekend... Most had already sprouted

Fingers crossed they come up.

Plant now. They may not grow, but they definitely won't if you leave them till September.

Yes. They can grow in the ground, they won't grow if you don't plant them.
