Now that Wilkos has gone...

...where can I buy gardening stuff? I loved pottering around Wilkos gardening aisles and am really starting to miss it now spring is coming.

I bought almost everything there, bulbs and seeds, twines, pots, trellis and so on. I even got home deliveries of compost and mini greenhouses and a wheelbarrow. I've just taken on a new allotment and don't know where to shop for it!

Online recommendations are welcome though I prefer actual shops. I live in a small town close to lots of other towns, I don't drive and although public transport is good DIY stores aren't easily accessible.

Thanks 🌱

My local Poundland has started stocking soil, plant pots, seeds/bulbs, tools...etc
Not as big of a selection as Wilko had but it might just be because it's a smaller store, they still have everything I need

The Range has some Wilkos gardening stuff. They had Wilko seeds but no bulbs last week.

I'll miss Wilkos too - mostly for the gardening stuff, but for other things too.

Aldi and Lidl's gardening things - when they have them -are excellent. Lidl seeds super cheap, and all the plants I've had from them both have thrived. (On the other hand, I'll never buy another plant from the Range, as they've all been shite. ) Of course it's not in stock all the time but they usually have fairly regular gardening weeks.

Also for seeds, Premier seeds are great - good range and excellent value. GrowVeg are good if you only want a very few of a variety. Real Seeds are great too but you pay handsomely for their care, variety and quality.

If you have a big Morrison's nearby with an external garden bit, they can be amazing for small but very cheap and good quality plants.

I have graduated on to B&M, mainly for pet treats to be honest.

Some towns have special B&M garden exclusive shops, but most of the bigger B&M's have a decent selection.

Have passed by some huge Home Bargains stores when driving too. Sure they would have a good selection?
