Specimen tree for courtyard

Hi All
Hoping you can offer thoughts on my shortlist of a specimen tree for my courtyard, between the back of the house, and a number of 1910-1930s outbuildings. It's overlooked by the neighbours too and all in red brick so desperately needs some tallish greenery. It gets a good amount of south west sunshine. I don't want anything overly messy (fruit etc). Will be putting down new paving/gravel in the area, currently tarmac so poor quality soil.

Options shortlisted so far:
-Hornbeam multistem (have hornbeam as hedge already)
-Cornus Eddies white wonder (current favourite)
-amelanchier lanarkii (have others elsewhere in the garden)
-Acer osakazuki (may grow too large or get leaf scorch?)
-Malus Evereste (less keen on fruit)

Hornbeam multistem (have hornbeam as hedge already) - can't comment
-Cornus Eddies white wonder (current favourite) - I have a cornus and I love it...it's my favourite.
-amelanchier lanarkii (have others elsewhere in the garden) - I find mine a bit disappointing in autumn and a bit lacklustre the rest of the year, I know it's recommended as a specimen tree but I'm not sure.
-Acer osakazuki (may grow too large or get leaf scorch?) - I love mine but am slightly worried it is going to grow too big for where it is and am thinking of putting some root barrier in or repotting into a pot on the ground with no base. It's not the most exciting tree in summer but it's beautiful in autumn.
-Malus Evereste (less keen on fruit) - love it - it does get quite spready but it's beautiful in spring and autumn.

I also have a couple of acers that have lovely bark, a snake one and a red stemmed one so you get more interest in winter.

Ooh thank you for these comments, really appreciate it!
Another cornus I like the look of is the wedding cake tree, but concerned it will grow too slowly - I do want it to get to 4-6m or so relatively quickly, and I can probably afford a 2.5-3m tree max

I've got a cornus contraversa variegata - it's a beautiful tree, but is getting very wide and I don't want to prune it as that would ruin the shape. So measure your space for width too.

I ended up putting prunus autumnalis in as a specimen too - and I really like that, it's got interest all year. It's covered in blossom at the moment.
