Any advice?
We are having some large established trees taken out and are planning to replace with screening trees that won’t develop the root system that will damage the foundations of the house that’s a couple of metres from the boundary line.
A Google of the types of trees gives me this sort of thing https://kingco.co.uk/top-10-screening-trees/
It’s a North facing garden with clay soil. It does get decent sunlight. The house only has a small bathroom window in that side so blocking light isn’t an issue. I rather like the pleached trees that have a lot of trunk showing and then a ball of foliage at the top. They look lovely, but I assume need a lot of tending 🥴
