Greenhouse without a door, can it be of any use?

I have a greenhouse that I acquired when I bought my house, the sliding door has come off its runners and in trying to get it back on, I have irreparably broken the runners.
Is it worth keeping it? Can it still be useful or do I need a new greenhouse?
Thanks in advance for any helpful thoughts

It certainly can be useful, especially for growing things in the height of summer when you'll really value the airflow. Glorious for tomatoes for example!
Probably not as great for staring things off in the winter, when you want to keep out the cold, although still better than no cover at all...

Unless you want to try to mend it, or finangle a fix?

You could try a sheet of bubble wrap to make a door curtain. It’s very cheap to buy.

In a similar situation I found that it wasn’t and after a couple of years trying I took it down. It was too cold for starting things like dahlias and I didn’t want to keep it just for frost protection, although it was sometimes useful for this, but not enough to justify the space.

I keep my greenhouse doors completely open from about May to end September

Make up a panel to fit the door opening and wedge it shut, or make a wooden frame to fit and cover with polythene, both sides to form an air gap like double glazing.

Can you find a local Handyman to fit new runners or make a frame and a swing door?
