Pond - just need to vent

It's taken me four years to get my tiny bucket-pond established in my little garden. Four years! I finally found pocket planters, got those planted up and growing and the pond looked like we might finally get some wildlife in.

On Thursday my windowcleaner came, I saw him on the front step and he said 'I put my foot in your bucket, sorry.' All fine until today I went out to hang out the washing and saw what he'd done and he's pulled ALL my careful planting into the pond, ripped the pockets, yanked it all from its supports and it looks AWFUL.

WIBU to go round to his house and trash his lawn?

Not really. But I did need to vent about the ruination of my just-getting-properly-growing pond. AND he called it a 'bucket' (it's a yard bucket, so not an ordinary bucket and it's obviously a pond, surrounded by cobbles and planting).

Oh, that’s sad!

Resist the temptation to empty the water. Are the planters mendable or will you need to buy more? It may look grim over the winter, but once spring comes and all the plants start growing, they’ll quickly hide the damage

Meanwhile, content yourself with the thought that he went through the rest of his day with a wet foot

I just had to Google what this was.

Has he broken anything, or can it be fixed/tidied? If he's broken anything that needs replacing, I would be asking him to pay. And find another window cleaner!

Having fished about in the pond for half an hour I think I have rectified the worst of the damage and am just going to have to wait until spring to make sure everything is still fine. The pocket planters seem to still be intact, it just got pulled into the pond so I'm now struggling to get it properly anchored again as it's wet and heavy with all the planting (I put it in place unfilled, which meant I could secure it without it constantly pulling itself into the pond. It needs another pair of hands ideally, which I don't have.

And thank you @MereDintofPandiculation I was quietly pleased that his foot was wet!
