Is it true that I need two or they won't fruit?

Is it true that they won't fruit until the third year?

I have a lovely big pot on my patio that is crying out for a pretty blueberry bush. Dd loves blueberries.

Wow...I am now so tempted to grow blueberries. We love them in our house and I was intending on getting my veg growing up to scratch this year, but after all that top advice from BBMouse I am keen to get started (the cost of them in the shops is also motivation).

Can anyone recommend a good website to buy from or shall I go to the local garden centre?

Oh...and how big is a 'big pot'?

Went to my local garden centre today and bought two lovely plants with lots of shoots on them. They are all potted up now and I just need to remember to water them and protect them and 'tuck them in' at night.

just bought a nice blueberry plant from homebase for £8.99 looks a good size hope it will work!!
