Can I do anything to revive this plant?

It's looking a bit sad these days and getting some brown areas on it. I only water when soil dry and it's kept in a North facing bathroom so not in direct sunlight. Any ideas anyone?

It looks like it might need a bigger pot, plus you should water cacti more frequently than when soil is dry.
I water mine every week in the summer plus they get plenty of light, one is in our conservatory, so I yours may need moving.

Is it overcrowded? Looks to be a huge plant for that size pot.

You've got lots of offshoot plants around the side. I would repot into a slightly bigger pot and take off the offshoots as you do it - then you've got lots of new plants to keep or give away! Generous things, plants :)

Definitely needs repotting. I've found Illes to be a game changer for my house plants too. No more over/under watering.

There are about six plants in that pot. @WobblyLondoner is right.

SIX plants? Yikes. I'll get a bigger pot. Thanks all.

It looks like an Aloe aristata, and suffering from lack of light, with soft floppy leaves. Does the pot have drainage holes? It could definitely do with a larger pot, a gritty compost mix, and better light. This plant is almost hardy, and some people manage to grow them outside all year, if in a sheltered corner.

Also make sure that you repot into a pot with drainage hole(s) in the bottom and stand the whole in a saucer or similar. It's not good to keep plants in pots without drainage as they end up with a pool at the bottom that rots the roots. I can't see if your pot is that type but you will know.

It’s not a cactus!

You will always get dead leaves, it doesn’t keep them forever. They can be pulled off.
