Watching YouTube videos about Propagating my Aeonium Zwartkop. Some say to let it Callous and some say just to plant it straight away?
What do I do?
I’m not a very planty person.

Yes, just cut it with an inch or two of stem, and let it callous for a week or so. It may start producing small root hairs from the base by then, and can then be potted in a gritty mix. They are really easy, and fairly foolproof.

You are a star @NanTheWiser , thank you.
Ds managed to care for it for years in his smelly teenage room and has moved out so I’ve inherited it. it fell over earlier so I’ve cut it according to the videos.

The videos are saying to mix in some perlite? I just have ordinary houseplant compost.

Can I stick a few in a big pot or would I need to do each in separate little pots?

They need gritty compost, grit, perlite and compost, they will rot if standing in wet compost

@Arewehumanorarewecupboards yes, you can use perlite (I don’t like it because it tends to float to the surface, but it does help to open up the potting mix). And certainly plant several in a pot, much easier to manage, and is what I do, making a fuller display.

Good luck!

You can propagate it in pure perlite. I have my cuttings in a plastic box with a clear lid so the humidity can build up inside. Let it callous first though or it may rot.
