Hi,
Please can anyone identify what this is on the leaves? All my Google searches don't come back with something that looks similar. It flakes off, see pick of table cover, kind of dandruff like! There are two conifers either side of this tree (not on my side of the fence though)one has already died and the other is looking less and less healthy. I am wondering if this is linked to it? What should I be doing if it is something sinister? I am growing a laurel hedge nearby and I really don't want that to suffer.

Is that an Elaeagnus? If so, I'm pretty sure the leaves look like that normally, I don't think it's a disease or issue. If you Google Elaeagnus leaves they look pretty much like yours, with a silvery sort of scale on them.
