Tree protector

The Council use some kind of thin corrugated sheeting which is cut to size and made into a tube. It's soft enough to be cut with scissors but rigid enough to stand upright once made into a tube and held together with tape.

We are putting in a Musa Basjoo and a Tetrapanax and want to protect them mainly from dog pee.

We have a tube from the Council which was discarded on the ground after some saplings had died so we took it home with us!

It's worked brilliantly for our Beech Sapling that we got from the Woodland Trust when they were giving away trees.

This plastic sheeting would be excellent for other trees in our garden as we have young weeping birch, silver birch and some young fur trees.

What would it be called as I've tried all kinds of combinations or tree protectors and can't find what this plastic sheeting would be called or where to buy it from.

Thanks.

Try googling "plastic tree guard".

Or tree spiral.

@LIZS thank you but it's not what I'm after. It's not spiral.

It would be a flat sheet that you cut to size and make a tube.
