Looks like something in the dandelion family, although can’t see it that clearly, rather fuzzy (or my old eyes on small screen are!)

It looks like one of the Hawkweed species - Hieracium. No idea about your dog, though I would doubt it.

Could be Cat's Ear or Sow Thistle?

Not a Hieraceum I didn’t think, possibly Crepis, but there are so many Asteraceae with yellow ray florets and many of the key characters aren’t things that can be seen on a photo of the plant. But I’d be betting on a Hawksbeard or Hawksbit rather than a Hawkweed.

it’s not Cats Ear or Sowthistle. Catsear stem thickens at the top so it merges smoothly into the “flower”, sowthistle leaves have “ears” clasping the stem.

But definitely Asteraceae family, and Asteraceae is generally trouble free for humans, though of course that’s no guarantee for a dog.

Thanks all

I'm pretty sure it's making my puppy itch so it's going tomorrow. Along with weed killer to hopefully deter it from coming back for a while.
I'm also hoping it's making my older dog cough because of it isn't the next step for her is a CT scan 😩

Weed killer won’t deter it from coming back unless you use a persistent weedkiller that stays in the soil and stops anything growing. Just pull it up, then you don’t need to worry about the effects of the weedkiller on your dogs
