Purple one is tall and the other has big pink flowers

It seems unfair that such an attractive wildflower gets lumbered with the name Toadflax.

What passes for a 'front garden' in my life is a very aged gravelled area covered in toadflax and herb robert, and I think they are lovely. They drive DH potty.

What about one thread for plant ID with no apps allowed in the title? Then people can pop on with pictures and whoever around at the time can have a go or not if they don’t know, someone is bound to.

It’s a nice idea, but I think we’d get muddled as to which flower is being identified. Also, I think it is often newbies who need an id, and they wouldn’t know to use the proper thread
