Just things I’ve seen on my travels that I thought could be nice for my garden 😊

2&3 might be the same, not sure!

I think the top one is Californian lilac, the second one if definitely nigella, not sure about 3 and I think 4 could be pyracantha?

Ceanothus
Love In The Mist (proper name is Nigella)
Thyme
Not sure about the last one. Does it have thorny branches?

YetAnotherSpartacus · 04/06/2023 12:11

Is the third a Diosma?

YetAnotherSpartacus · 04/06/2023 12:12

The 4th could be a Viburnum.

first is Ceonothus, apparently known as Californian lilac despite it being in the Buckthorn family and not in the lilac family.

second, love in a mist, Nigella damascena

third is not thyme which is in the mint family so definitely does not have 5 similarly shaped petals

4th is clearly rose family. No of flowers suggests Spirea rather than Pyracantha

The 4th could be a Viburnum.

Viburnum don’t have that many stamens, and the petals are fused at the base.
