So i have a climbing jasmin, it was lovely last year. over the winter, i brought it inside, but the last few months, it looked like its dieing, lost lots of leaves and tried up. She had been watered regularly. I have no idea what to do with it now, if anybody can offer any insight!

How regularly is regular watering? I would say it looks like it has been overwatered.

I would get it out of the pot just to see if anything is going on with the roots. Repot into a slightly bigger pot if it looks like it needs it.

Cut back the dead bits and hold back on the watering for a bit, but don't let it dry out too much.

it would have been better off outside.
too late now.
if you can put it in the ground, alternatively a (much) larger pot.
a feed with all purpose plant food might also be a good idea.

Do i trim the stick bits right down?

It doesn't need to come inside and you can overwater them (I know from bitter experience!). Definitely get it outside, somewhere where it gets done sun. Not sure about cutting back all the stems - I'd leave them for a while to see if you get any growth along them once it's more comfortable.

It is confusing with jasmine. The one that you see the most is a 'proper' jasmine (jasminum) - whereas what you've got has the common name star jasmine but its a different plant entirely (Trachelospermum). Then there is winter jasmine (the yellow one) and the jasmine houseplant version...

yes, I would trim anything bare & woody.

Yes, agree Trachelospermum not Jasminum
