Butternut squash - shall just plant in ground?

I’ve grown about 16 plants from seed. They are about 10 cm high in the propagator. Can I put them straight in, or would you transfer & keep them inside a bit longer? What did you transfer yours to?

I would pot them on and keep them inside until risk of frost has passed (assuming you're in UK). Harden them off by putting them outside during the day for a week, then overnight near the house for another week, before planting out.

If you're in the UK you're about a month too early. They don't like cold ground at all.

Don't plant them out until nights are warmer and they have at least 5 true leaves.

Thanks for help! I will hang on longer… my worry was that it was too cold. Will wait!
