Am I going to rue the day that I planted vinca minor?

I’ve bought some vinca minor, with the thought to plant it in the section of a bed that runs the length of my garden, but only underneath my camellia, bay and spotted laurel. Nothing grows there as there is very little light, and DS’ football generally ends up there when he misses his shots at goal.

It is definitely vinca minor that I’ve bought, not major. But is it going to spread and become out of control please? I have enough invasive plants that it would be madness to purposely add one if that is what it is.

I have some under a tree in a scrubby corner and it tries to spread everywhere but I just pull it up when I see it trying to invade my borders.. the bees like it so keep a bit under the tree

Ive got some in the “woodland” which has barely spread and it’s never flowers. And another which has spread onto our tarmac drive into a little parch where it’s not run over because there’s a bush overhanging, and that is flowering well

I'm interested in this because we have just spotted some vinca major in our garden. Is that more invasive than vinca minor? Should I dig it out?

How do you know the difference?
