To plant some miniature daffodils?

I'm not a gardener but I do try to keep the gardens neat and tidy. I was out tidying up today and noticed snowdrops and crocuses popping up and thought about adding daffodils aswell but wasn't sure if its still to cold?

For reference I'm on the East Coast of Scotland. Mildest day recently was 9 and tonight its dropped to 3 as an example

I've got mini daffodils in flower in my garden but I'm in Devon not Scotland. I'm sure yours would be fine though.

I also found another bag of mini daff bulbs in the shed today which got overlooked for planting last autumn. I've stuck them in the ground today, they'll come up some time or other!

I was thinking of the ones already flowering in pots not bulbs. Would they survive?

Yes good time to plant if planting flowering plants, frosts won't be a problem for daffs

Although if you wait a couple of weeks you may get some discounted as they're going over

Thank you 😊

I bought some mini daffodils and crocuses the other day in containers and transferred them to pots. Now I'm obsessed with keeping them safe as like you I'm in Scotland so they basically come in at night. My family are calling me nuts. They are already starting to sprout and it's the highlight of my days🤣 I'll post an updated pic tomorrow. Go for it

Also spot the lovely big orange bumblebee! Came to say hello

The usual miniatures in pots are Tete a Tete. My Tete a Tete in the lawn are just opening their flowers (Yorkshire).

You should be fine but you may need to harden them off for a couple of weeks if they’ve been kept indoors. Put them out during the day, bring them in at night, choose a forecast period of warmer weather to plant them out permanently
