What to feed a 6ft apple tree?

Absolutely no idea what variety is how old this is. The tree/plant is about 6ft high. Looks strong. But last summer, many leaves have turned brown and it had just 2-3 fruits. The fruit were small and browned before ripening.

All the leaves have fallen for winter. I can see small shoots of leaves now.

what can I feed it and when to feed to have a healthy tree/plant?

Blood fish and bone, but I'd wait a couple of months

Pruning it does more for vigorous growth and better yields of apples than feeding it. Now is a good time to do it. Usually by about a 3rd or you can take it right back to the central trunk which is also known as pollarding but you'll not get much fruit this year but next summer would be very productive.

Pruning is what you need really. I found this guide helpful when I was starting out.

A pruning saw is pretty cheap and will make the job so much easier as well

Possibly brown rot. Rake up all the dead leaves from last year, and any of the fallen fruit and either burn or put in the garden waste bin.

If it's in the ground (not a pot) then pruning and watering during droughts will be the best thing to reinvigorate it.

Last year it might have been affected by drought. If it’s as hot this year, throw a couple of buckets of water on it every couple of weeks (lots of water is better than frequent small amounts)

How many flowers did it have last year? Did it set lots of fruit and then drop them, or did it have only two or three right from the beginning?

I didn’t water it much during summer, so lack of water could be a reason. It flowered very little. And 2-3 fruits that remained small and browned quickly.
