Can anyone identify all these that have sprung up in our garden

They all grew in the last couple of months but don't seem to be flowering into anything. Should we expect some flowers in the spring from them or are they a kind of long grass?
We only moved into the house in September and they weren't there then.
Thanks

Have you got a photo or better description than long grass?

broomers · 04/12/2022 11:49

I would not expect flowers in the spring :)

Thornrose · 04/12/2022 11:54

You have babies springing up all over your garden? I'm jealous...😂😁

sashagabadon · 04/12/2022 11:55

Cabbage patch kids are real! I knew it 😂

DrFoxtrot · 04/12/2022 11:56

Wauden · 04/12/2022 11:56

I am a bit worried about all the babies growing in your garden, although he is a cutie.

ILoveShula · 04/12/2022 11:57

Looks like a baby OP. I'd get rid of any gooseberry bushes unless you want more DC.

Tashface · 04/12/2022 11:57

Cute baby Bear

I'm going to be the first to take a wild guess without a photo, and say ..... crocosmia! Only saying cos I was surprised this morning to see that mine has started popping up!

Ramble0n · 04/12/2022 11:57

What a beautiful flower he is.

Ramble0n · 04/12/2022 11:59

They could well be bulbs. It will be exciting to see what they are.

Wauden · 04/12/2022 12:00

You don't have an identification problem, you have a stork problem.

SpringIntoChaos · 04/12/2022 12:06

I think these are 'bellus puer puer' OP 💗

broomers · 04/12/2022 12:09

Haha thank you for all your replies Grin
I'd say they looked like daffodils before they flower

Do you want to remove the photo, you can report it to mnhq.

MsDemeanors · 04/12/2022 12:12

This already one of my favourite ever threads on MN.

ThatGirlInACountrySong · 04/12/2022 12:12

I'm guessing Hellebore!

CheeseIsMyPatronus · 04/12/2022 12:14

If they look like daffodils and you actually have daffodils, they are probably daffodils.

The climate is being very weird. My fuchsia is still in flower and my aliums are coming up.

HappyHamsters · 04/12/2022 12:14

Are they in the lawn, how big are they, could they be crocus or maybe daffodils.

RosesAndHellebores · 04/12/2022 12:16

If the leaves are chivey I'd say muscari. They sprout early and then give up small blue flowers.

Do the leaves smell of anything?

Such a cute baby!
