Help with planting scheme for slope

Hi, hoping for some advice from someone with more experience than me!

Have just finished clearing an area of my new garden which was very overgrown with weeds, brambles etc. Its a 3x2 m area of quite steep slope. I've pegged down some coir mat on it now in an attempt to prevent the bare soil from washing away but would like to get it planted up soonish so that the plants can get to work holding the soil together.

The soil is quite sandy and it face SE but is partly shaded by a holly hedge, so no direct sun all day.

I'm unsure of what combination of plants to use to look nice together, have year round interest and hold the soil together effectively...

I've been given the following suggestions so far:

Hypericum Calycinum
Vinca minor
honeysuckle (there's a bit of a gap in the hedge which 'd like to cover up, thought honeysuckle could work?
Japanese anenome

I haven't got an idea in my head yet of what these would look like together, or if i should just pick one or two plants and keep it simple. I'd like to include some ornamental grasses but not sure which ones will thrive in the conditions described above...

I don't even know how many of each plant i'd need for an area that size?

I'd love some ideas of people with a better design head than me!

Pulmonaria, geranium for groundcover, crocosmia have tall pointed leaves which look attractive imv - but I don’t think you’ll get many flowers on any of them if it’s full shade. Hebes can have a nice rounded shape as a shrub.
I have a spreading blue viola and ajuga reptans spreads too much.

Have a look at the RHS plant selector www.rhs.org.uk/plants/search-form . You can choose banks and slopes in 'Planting Types'.
