Over-wintering citrus plants

I have 2 standard citrus plants in pots. They aren't frost tolerant. My choices for winter are:
1 - wrap them in fleece and leave them outside,
2 - put them in the shed where they'll get a little bit of light but not much, or,
3 - bring them into the house where they'll have to survive central heating.
I have no green house or conservatory. I'm in a fairly mild area, but it will get frosty soon I think.
What do you suggest?

Definitely not 3, they really hate extreme temperature changes. Can you push them up into a sheltered place next to your house or a wall and fleece the outside?

That's interesting, I have a kaffir lime which does 3 every year and seems very happy!

Shed or look into getting one of those mini-greenhouses.

Never tried with a lime, but I did with some lemons one year. They freaked out and dropped all their leaves with shock!

Maybe mine are more temperamental....

Yes one of the little zip up greenhouse covers.

I have a eureka lemon tree and I bought it in to sit by the bifold doors last winter, it was very happy and healthy. This year I think I'm leaving it in the porch where there isn't so much light or heat and I'm hoping it'll be alright.

Mine are indoors

I've wrapped them in fleece and put them in a sheltered corner. 🤞
