It's green alkanet that I have problems with. Bloody long tap root impossible to remove carefully with lots of clay in the soil. Sadly the neighbour's neglected garden is full of it, so I won't be rid any time soon. Creeping cinquefoil had a very good year last year, sadly. The odd clump of lesser celandine will probably have died back by the time the other plants are big enough for planting out.

New large patio planter 1 has been filled with things that survived the winter in pots - gooseberry, either black or white currant, strawberries and a fig. Food by the back door!

Don't worry, I have other plants for the bees to love! Making it into fertiliser still requires digging it out... The hairs irritate my skin. Yes I prefer lazy gardening Grin
