Help me plan my garden. Should I take out this bed?

I hope the diagram shows up. When we moved in, there was a very ugly shed we couldn't remove, so I put in two curved beds, to make a nice symmetrical entry to the veg plot. I planted a vigorous climbing rose at the back of the left-hand bed, to cover the ugly shed (it's wedding day, which is a nice rambler, FWIW, but I'm not super attached to it - it was £5, so not a huge investment). There's also a viburnum tinus at the back, which is small atm and hasn't done brilliantly.

We've now taken the shed down, and there's a stony patch where it used to be, full of builder's rubble/very compacted ground. We want to make a seating area there. Would you take the curved flower bed out? Or reduce it to shorter plants?

I also want to plant some fruit trees and train them flat against walls. There's already a morello on the neighbour's shed facing into our garden; where else would you put them? Some of them would be suitable for pots. Pros and cons of having them on the walls behind where we want to have a seating area?

If you read this far, thanks!

Which way does the garden face? Are the sheds on the left yours or your neighbours'?

You could put stepover apples along the new seating area where it borders the veg plot?

South facing, and yes, the sheds on the left are ours. I'm not sure how easy it'd be to dig into the ground between where the shed was and the veg patch - my hunch is it's pretty stony and compacted. But I do like the idea of structure there and trained trees would be pretty! Thanks.

Also I'd leave the curved bed there and fill it with things that smell amazing so you get the benefit when sitting. And maybe a water feature

I like the idea of scented plants there! It's quite dry and sunny so I already have some lavender in there and could certainly have more lovely-smelling things.

I would put your seating area in and leave the bed for now. See how you use it, and whether the bed gets in the way. You can always remove it later.
