How tall are your sweet peas?

I'm getting height anxiety about my sweet peas as its my first time growing them. They're currently just under 3 feet tall, growing up a metal arch, and I've spied few buds appearing.

Will they carry on getting taller whilst flowering? I was hoping they'd get a. Bit further up the arch. I also drove past someone's garden the other day with 6ft tall sweet peas so now I am in raptures of envy!

I've been giving them tomato food about once a fortnight, should I bee feeding more often? They've been getting a good hosing every few days. Is it easy to over water or should I just go for it and give them more?

I have some regular sweetpeas which are about 3ft tall and some dwarf ones which are maybe 2ft.
I always struggle to get them to flower lower down the stems but they've started to flower at the tops and are gorgeous.
I guess I should nip them put more when they're seedlings but I never seem to get it quite right.

If you plant seeds early (autumn) they will branch naturally by spring time. Otherwise you can pinch them but the stems will be shorter. I get some flowers lower down but most at the top. I pick pick pick to stop them focusing on turning flowers to seed though.

Also do seaweed feed once a week and when they flower change to tomato food once a week.

Thanks @jevoudrais - I haven't fed them at all, just watered a lot, will start to feed now they're flowering. Ill also try planting in autumn this year, rather than spring.
Can't imagine a year without sweetpeas, they're my absolute favourite
